The mad march hares illustration is based on the male courting hares. Throughout March, hares begin their breeding season and start their courtship with vertical jumping and boxing one another, hence the phrase "Mad as a March hare". I love the idea of fighting for the attention of a female so I made my illustration with the emphasis on the punch to be more human like a boxing match.
The design is screen printed on a Bamboo slim fit jersey t-shirt in white.
